Kathryn E. Gibson MD, FAAFP has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Kathryn E. served as the Onsite Health Clinic Physician at ARUP Laboratories from October 2012 to July 2016, providing individualized care to patients and supervising healthcare professionals. Kathryn E. then transitioned to the role of Medical Director of Health and Wellness at ARUP Laboratories in July 2016, overseeing corporate and community wellbeing strategies and managing various healthcare programs. In addition, Kathryn also worked at the University of Utah Health as a Physician, providing preventive, acute, and chronic care to patients, as well as teaching primary care medicine to students and residents. Kathryn E. also held the position of Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Utah Health, contributing to medical education.

Dr. Kathryn E. Gibson completed their Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Business/Managerial Economics, both Summa Cum Laude, at Rice University in 1998. Kathryn E. then earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Exercise Physiology from The University of Texas at Austin in 2002. Dr. Gibson went on to complete their Doctor of Medicine (MD) at the University of Utah School of Medicine in 2007. Kathryn E. continued their education with a Residency in the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine at the University of Utah School of Medicine from 2007 to 2010. In 2011, they participated in the Health Science Leadership Development Program at the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business. Additionally, Dr. Gibson holds additional certifications in Family Medicine from the American Board of Family Medicine and as a Leading Physician Wellbeing Scholar from the American Academy of Family Physicians.
