Blake Vanderploeg

Blake VanderPloeg is an experienced professional in the fields of physical therapy and the arts, currently serving as a Dance Teacher at the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities since June 2022. Prior to this, Blake worked as a Rehab Tech at Reunion Rehabilitation Hospitals, providing essential support to physical and occupational therapists, and played a significant role in patient education and equipment procurement. Earlier experience includes academic tutoring at Calvin University, where Blake supported students in kinesiology and biology, and serving as a Physical Therapy Technician at Hulst Jepsen Physical Therapy, focusing on patient exercise programs. Blake's commitment to education and the arts was also evident through a Teacher Assistant position at the Arvada Center and teaching basic musical theater arts to young children. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, Blake holds a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Calvin University, emphasizing pre-physical therapy studies.
