Emilie Gallier is an accomplished researcher and educator in the field of dance. Currently serving as a researcher at ATD Lectorate - Academy of Theatre and Dance since September 2023, Emilie also acts as a tutor within the THIRD 3rd cycle research group at DAS Graduate School since March 2020. At Leiden University, Emilie teaches choreography, contemporary dance, dance notation, and improvisation since 2008. Emilie's role as Artistic Director, Choreographer, and Researcher at PØST Cie from 2004 to the present highlights a strong commitment to the arts, alongside a PhD focused on reading in performance completed at C-DaRE from January 2016 to January 2021. Previous educational leadership includes coordinating a European exchange program for MJC Flers and performing with Compagnie Arkanso. Emilie's extensive educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy from Coventry University and a Master in Choreography from ArtEZ University of the Arts, among other qualifications in dance and art history.
