Arvada Fire
Matthew Osier has a work experience that spans over two companies. Matthew started their career in 1999 as a Firefighter at Arvada Fire Protection District. Matthew then worked their way up through the ranks, serving as Lieutenant from 2007 to 2017, Captain from 2017 to 2020, and currently holds the position of Battalion Chief since January 2020. In 2005, Matthew also joined Colorado Task Force One (COTF-1) as a Search Team Manager (STM).
Matthew Osier has a Bachelor's degree in Public Safety from the University of Northern Colorado and an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Fire Science/Fire-fighting from Red Rocks Community College.

Arvada Fire provides a wide range of emergency response programs including fire suppression, technical rescue, water rescue, hazardous materials, and emergency medical services. The department also provides numerous community risk reduction programs including business inspections, plan review, home safety visits, school programs, community activities and more.
