Nick Quintana has extensive experience in both firefighting and entrepreneurship. Since January 2000, Nick has served as a Fire Lieutenant and Firefighter with the Arvada Fire Protection District. Concurrently, Nick has been a Co-Owner of Li’l Nick’s Pizza since December 1999, having started this venture in January 1995. Prior to these roles, Nick worked as an Auditor for URS Corporation, an AECOM Company, from January 2000 to November 2001. Nick holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Northern Colorado and attended Colorado Mesa University from 1995 to 1997.

Arvada Fire currently maintains 8 active fire stations throughout approximately 41 square miles in the City of Arvada, the northern portion of the City of Wheat Ridge, and portions of unincorporated Jefferson County. Nearly 200 employees serve approximately 133,000 citizens. Arvada Fire provides a wide range of emergency response programs including fire suppression, technical rescue, water rescue, hazardous materials, and emergency medical services. The department also provides numerous community risk reduction programs including business inspections, plan review, home safety visits, school programs, community activities and more.
