Fire Marshal at Arvada Fire

Steven Parker, MS, EFO, currently serves as Fire Marshal at the Arvada Fire Protection District since April 2015, previously holding the position of Deputy Fire Marshal. Before joining Arvada, Steven worked at the Golden Fire Department from May 2011 to April 2015, also as Deputy Fire Marshal and Fire Inspector, where responsibilities included pre-construction plan reviews, fire protection system inspections, and code enforcement. Earlier experience includes serving as a Life Safety Inspector for the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and as a Designer/Project Manager at ABC Fire Protection, Inc. Steven holds a Master of Science degree in Fire and Emergency Management Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree in Fire Protection and Safety Technology from Oklahoma State University, as well as a Certificate in Public Safety Leadership from the University of Denver.
