Melissa Zuehlke has a diverse range of work experience. Melissa currently works as a Network Operations Center Technician at Arvig since July 2021. Previously, from 2013 to 2019, they worked at Dell, first as a Technical Training Advisor where they trained employees in network engineering through teleconferencing and in-person sessions. Melissa then moved on to a role as an Enterprise Tech Supp Sr. Anlst, providing level-2 support for Dell networking equipment and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve complex network issues.
In 2015, Melissa was a Minneapolis Veteran Co-Leader at Operation Supply Drop, where they helped bridge the gap between active-duty and veteran status through various programs and support structures, using gaming as a catalyst. Prior to that, they worked as a Peer Tutor at Century College from 2012 to 2013, where they helped students understand Cisco curriculum by simplifying complex concepts.
From 2005 to 2012, Melissa served in the U.S. Army National Guard as a Network Controller, responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting a satellite data communications network. Melissa also assisted with the commissioning and decommissioning of communication stations. In 2012, they briefly worked as a Computer Operator at the Minnesota State Lottery, focusing on data integrity and compliance routines.
Melissa's earlier experiences include serving as the Vice President at CCITA from 2011 to 2012, being a team member for the Century College 2011 Team at the Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition (CCDC) from January to March 2011, and working as an Assistant Manager at Family Dollar from 2005 to 2008, where they were involved in customer satisfaction, store planning, merchandise placement design, and visual appeal.
Melissa Zuehlke completed their education at two different institutions. From 2010 to 2013, they attended Century College, where they obtained an Associate's Degree in Information and Telecommunications Technology. Following this, from 2019 to 2021, they pursued their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree at Saint Mary's University of Minnesota, majoring in Information Technology. In addition to their formal education, they received certification as a Cisco Certified Network Associate Voice (CCNA) from Cisco in June 2014.
