David Cole

David Cole's work experience starts in 2002 as a PhD student and laboratory demonstrator at the University of Bath. David then worked as an analyst programmer at Tessella from 2006 to 2009, where they gained experience in software development and worked on client sites. From 2010 to 2011, they were a freelance IT consultant at IPL, working on a significant web project. In 2011, they worked as a software engineer at Softly Software, re-engineering a web application. David also worked as an IT consultant at Oakwood Design Consultants during this time. In 2011, they joined IPL again as an engineer and team lead, driving requirements gathering and developing an enterprise workflow management system for a government client. From 2014 to 2015, they were a stay-at-home dad before joining IPL as a UX developer and engineer from 2015 to 2017. During this time, they also became a tech lead. In 2017, they joined BAE Systems Applied Intelligence as a senior software engineer, where they were a senior member of an innovation and data science team. Finally, in 2020, they became the Chief Technology Officer at Arwen.AI.

David Cole earned their MPhys degree in Physics from the University of Bath from 1998 to 2002. David then pursued further education at the same university and obtained a PhD in Superconductivity, completing their studies from 2002 to 2006.
