Bohou Li

Bohou Li is an experienced software engineer currently serving as a Founding Engineer at Aryn since July 2023, working on Sycamore, a distributed and AI-powered semantic data preparation system for unstructured data. Prior to this role, Bohou Li spent nearly nine years at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where responsibilities included optimizing the data lake execution engine and leading the development of the Governed Table as a Principal Software Engineer. Earlier positions at AWS included significant contributions as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on AWS Lake Formation, and as a founding member of AWS Glue, where Bohou Li played a key role in server-less ETL development. Bohou Li began the career at AWS Redshift, specializing in large-scale data ingestion and query optimization. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Computer Science from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
