Mike Cooke

Mike Cooke currently serves as the Head of ESG and Sustainability at ARYZTA AG since August 2023. Prior to this role, Mike held the position of Chief Sustainability Officer at Jabil from October 2020 to August 2023, where a global sustainability strategy was successfully devised and implemented, earning recognition as Jabil’s Enterprise Leader. Between May 2016 and November 2020, Mike worked at ABB as SVP Sustainability, leading the HSE and Sustainability Function for a large workforce and achieving significant reductions in incident rates and improvements in sustainability scores. Earlier roles included Global Head of HSE at Rolls-Royce, where Mike established key safety programs and secured management buy-in for HS&E practices, and Director of the Pharma Business Unit at Univar Solutions, focusing on strategic growth amidst market challenges. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Henley Business School and an MSc from The University of Manchester. Mike recently completed the NED Accelerator® program through the NEDonBoard Institute.
