Monica Wangeci

Monica Wangeci is a seasoned financial leader with extensive experience in financial management and strategic oversight. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at ASA International since October 2022, Monica provides guidance on policy implementation and manages treasury operations and financial risk. Previously, as Head of Finance and HR at Evon International Energy Limited, Monica established both the Finance and Treasury Department and HR function, working to enhance business performance. Monica's earlier roles at Kenya Women Microfinance Bank included Finance and Investments Manager, responsible for liquidity management and deal structuring, as well as positions in payroll management and accounting, where foundational skills were developed. Monica holds a Master of Science in Development Finance from Strathmore Business School and multiple degrees in commerce, management, and accounting.
