Anshuman Kumar

Anshuman Kumar is an accomplished design leader currently serving as the Head of Design at Asana, where leadership spans a diverse team of approximately 100 design professionals across the US and Canada. Prior to Asana, Anshuman held various design management roles at Google from June 2012 to July 2021, including building the Google Smartphone design team and leading design for innovation in AR and VR products. Anshuman's expertise also includes establishing design teams for advanced technologies at Google Tango and Waymo, as well as enhancing user experiences for G-Suite. Additionally, Anshuman has contributed to academia as a visiting faculty member at NID Bangalore and co-founded initiatives focused on design education and the preservation of handicrafts in India. Educational credentials include a Master of Design in Interaction Design from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University.
