Alvaro Gaona

Alvaro Gaona is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in machine learning, software engineering, and education. Currently serving as Lead Machine Learning Engineer at ASAPP, Alvaro oversees the development of natural language processing services, focusing on performance and user experience. Prior roles include Teaching Assistant at Universidad de 'San Andrés', where Alvaro educated undergraduate students in AI and provided academic support, and Research Engineer, leading projects on perception algorithms for self-driving cars.
