Barrett Lattimer

Barrett Lattimer currently serves as a Research Engineer at ASAPP since November 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Graduate Student Instructor at the University of Michigan, where responsibilities included conducting weekly office hours and managing discussion sections for senior-level machine learning classes, and serving as an Independent Researcher under Dr. Wang, focusing on multimodal deep learning and political bias prediction. Additional positions held include Data Science Developer at Socially Determined, Global Summer Analyst at Bank of America, and various research roles at Virginia Tech, contributing to projects related to natural language processing, satellite communications, augmented reality applications, and robotics. Barrett earned a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from Virginia Tech.
