Emile Khoury Hélou

Emile Khoury-Helou is a seasoned legal professional with extensive expertise in banking and finance, particularly in Islamic finance projects, capital markets, and corporate law. Currently serving as Of Counsel and Senior Associate at ASAR - Al Ruwayeh & Partners since January 2019, Emile advises local and international financial institutions on debt capital markets and Sukuk transactions. Prior to this role, Emile spent over two decades at SCP Law Firm, where responsibilities included drafting and evaluating agreements related to various Islamic investment structures and aligning documents with tax compliance regulations. Emile holds a Master’s Degree in Law from Saint Joseph University in Beirut and completed high school at Notre Dame des Anges in Lebanon.
