Claire Riddet

Claire Riddet has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Claire started their career as a University Tutor at The University of Waikato. Claire then worked at Bank of New Zealand, where they held positions as Operations Executive and Retail Risk Incident Manager, focusing on incident management and operational risk. At the same company, they later became a Delivery Manager, leading marketing planning and business performance optimization projects.

After their time at Bank of New Zealand, Claire joined Tower Insurance as a Senior Risk Advisor, where they were responsible for risk management, business continuity planning, internal audit, and corporate fraud. During their tenure, they successfully led the design and implementation of a Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) system.

Currently, Claire is working at ASB Bank as Financial Services Line 1 Risk Lead. Prior to this role, they served as the Senior Risk Manager for Business Banking, leading a team of Risk Managers. Claire'sachievements at ASB Bank include designing and leading the divisional Risk & Control Self Assessment (RCSA) and being recognized as the runner-up Risk Person of the Year for Business & Corporate Banking.

Throughout their career, Claire has consistently demonstrated their expertise in risk management, governance, and project leadership.

Claire Riddet pursued their education from 2008 to 2011 at The University of Waikato, where they achieved a Bachelor of Management Studies (First Class Honours) degree. During their time there, they focused on Public Relations and Strategic Management as their field of study.
