Hugh Batten

Hugh Batten possesses extensive experience in product ownership, customer experience, and compliance consulting across various industries. Currently serving as Product Owner for the Mobile Platform at ASB Bank since October 2019, Hugh oversees technology platforms for retail and business mobile applications. Prior roles include Customer Experience Owner in the Home Ownership Tribe at ASB Bank, Product Owner at Xero focusing on customer experience for accountants and bookkeepers, and Senior Consultant/Project Manager at Fujitsu New Zealand delivering ERP solutions. Hugh also held various compliance and testing consultant positions at GlaxoSmithKline, AstraZeneca, and other organizations. Academically, Hugh holds a Master of Applied Finance from Victoria University of Wellington and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Commerce and Law from The University of Auckland.
