Richard Lin, CFA, has extensive experience in quantitative analytics and model risk analysis, currently serving as Manager of Quantitative Analytics at ASB Bank since August 2015, where significant contributions include developing an initial margin calculation model based on the ISDA SIMM standard. Previously, Richard worked as a Senior Model Risk Analyst at ASB Bank, validating various models related to investment products and treasury operations. Prior roles include System Accountant at Sovereign, providing system support with a focus on IT and financial knowledge, and Payment Administrator at the Ministry of Health New Zealand, managing claims processes and ensuring timely funding for healthcare facilities. Richard holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance and Information Science from the University of Otago.
