Ryland Owen

Ryland Owen has an extensive career in the automotive industry, currently serving as the Director of Fixed Operations Training at Asbury Automotive Group since 1976. In this role, Ryland oversees the training of new hires across various fixed operations, including technicians and service managers, and administers programs like the Asbury Technical Institute and Asbury Technician Guild. Prior positions include Regional Fixed Operations Trainer & Recruiter, where responsibilities included recruiting and training service staff, and Service and Parts Director at Nalley Honda, Georgia's first Honda dealership, where management of the service department took place from 1980 to 1998. Earlier experience also includes working as a Service Manager for a large heavy-duty truck and equipment shop. From 2002 to 2006, Ryland provided technical inspection services for the International Motor Sports Association, supporting competitors in racing events. Ryland holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Florida State University.
