Wayne Forrest

Wayne Forrest has a strong background in software engineering and design technologies. Wayne currently holds the position of Principal Software Engineer at ASC Pty Ltd since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Specialist Software Engineer at the same company from February 2022 to November 2022. Wayne also gained experience as a Methods and Tools Lead at Naval Group Australia from March 2021 to January 2022. Their extensive career at ASC Pty Ltd dates back to 1989, where they held the role of Design Technologies Manager for over 30 years. Before joining ASC Pty Ltd, Wayne worked as a Draftsman at Santos from 1980 to 1989.

Wayne Forrest's education history begins with their high school education at Elizabeth West High School, which they attended from 1977 to 1981. After high school, they pursued an Associate Diploma in Mechanical Engineering at TAFE NSW, completing it from 1981 to 1986. Following this, they enrolled at the University of South Australia and obtained a degree in Applied Science with a specialization in Computing, which they pursued from 1989 to 1996. In 2008 to 2009, Wayne pursued a Diploma in Business Management at TAFE, and in 2011, they obtained a certificate III in Fitness from TAFE as well.
