David Williams

David Williams is an accomplished publishing professional with extensive experience in the film and entertainment media sector. Currently serving as Publisher and Web Manager/Associate Publisher for American Cinematographer at The American Society of Cinematographers since March 2016, David oversees the publication’s editorial focus on the craft of motion picture creation across various formats. Prior to this role, David held positions as Editor In Chief for Geek Magazine at Source Interlink Companies and Digital Video Magazine at NewBay Media, where editorial leadership included content development and publication management. David also redesigned and relaunched Cinefantastique Magazine as Editor In Chief and contributed to The Hollywood Reporter as Executive Editor, managing content related to significant industry events. David holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cinematography and Film/Video Production from San Francisco State University.
