Miranda Kofeldt, PhD has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning from 1996 to the present. Miranda is currently serving as the Vice President of Clinical Services at Ascellus, a role they assumed in April 2022. From July 2012 to April 2020, Dr. Kofeldt served as a Clinical Psychologist at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Here, they provided psychological services to clients with various diagnoses, including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, and substance use disorders. Miranda also worked with clients facing co-occurring somatic health issues and personality disorders.

Dr. Kofeldt's experience with the University of Maryland includes their role as the Assistant Director of Clinical Training and Assistant Research Professor at the University of Maryland College Park. From July 2011 to July 2012, they supervised clinical interventions and psychological assessments while teaching a course on psychopathology. Miranda also provided guidance and support to graduate students applying for pre-doctoral internships.

Prior to this, from July 2010 to June 2011, Dr. Kofeldt worked as a Psychology Intern at the University of Maryland School of Medicine/Baltimore VA. As part of an interdisciplinary treatment team, they conducted diagnostic assessments and provided individual and group therapy to clients attending an adult outpatient psychiatric clinic and a substance abuse program.

During their time at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, from August 2003 to June 2010, Dr. Kofeldt served as a Research Assistant and MDQuit Center Specialist. Miranda was involved in grant writing, data analyses, and supervising and training undergraduate students in research skills.

Dr. Kofeldt's other relevant experiences include working as a Psychology Extern in a clinical setting in 2009 and serving as an Intake Assistant and Crisis Intervention Specialist at The Open Door, Alcohol and Other Drug Treatment Center from September 1996 to July 1999.

Miranda Kofeldt, PhD, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania from 1999 to 2003. Miranda then pursued their Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Clinical Psychology and Behavioral Medicine at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, graduating in 2011.
