Breno Araujo

Breno Araujo has an extensive work experience in the field of design. Breno currently holds the position of Director of User Experience at Ascend Fundraising Solutions since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked at VanHack as a Lead Designer from December 2021 to March 2023. In this role, they were responsible for creating a rich and fluid experience for companies and tech professionals to connect. Breno also managed a global talent community and conducted research and usability tests to improve the product. Before VanHack, Breno worked as a Design Consultant at Prova Fácil from December 2017 to December 2019, where they contributed to the redesign of the mobile app and exam management system. Breno conducted field research, usability testing, and collected data to develop new solutions. Additionally, they have worked as a Product Designer at Hotmart from July 2019 to October 2019, focusing on data-driven products and engaging users around data culture. Breno also has experience at Siteware, where they held multiple roles such as Lead Designer and Product Designer, and was invited to spread the design culture within the company. Breno played a key role in redesigning products and improving the user experience. Breno started their career as a UI Designer and front-end developer at S.A. Estado de Minas, creating multimedia content to support the news. Breno's earliest work experience was as a Web Designer at Why Digital.

Breno Araujo obtained a Specialist degree in Interaction Design from PUC Minas in 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais between 2012 and 2017, with a focus on philosophy of mind, aesthetic, and philosophy of language. In 2018, they participated in a Leadership Development Program at Fundação Dom Cabral. Additionally, they pursued a degree in Integrated Social Communication at PUC Minas from 2009 to 2011, although it was not completed. Breno also holds a certification in Design Thinking: Myths and Applications from DMT | Cursos, Palestras e Treinamentos.
