Chaowalit Bunchom

Chaowalit Bunchom is a seasoned analytics and AI professional with extensive experience in financial services and data science. Currently serving as Deputy Director - Head of Analytics & AI at Ascend Group since May 2023, Chaowalit oversees data and AI strategies for various subsidiaries, including Ascend Nano, Ascend Wealth, Ascend Assurance, and collaborative projects involving the Bank of Thailand. As the founder of Data Science and Teach since January 2019, Chaowalit has contributed to the Edtech sector by evolving the curriculum from fundamentals to advanced topics in data analytics and data science. Previous roles include Group Head of Data Management & Data Analytics at Siam Piwat, Vice President at True Digital Group, Data Science Manager at Central Group, Data Analyst at HomePro, and Head of Data Analytics at Bangkok Glass Public Company Limited. Chaowalit holds a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics and Computational Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science, both from Chulalongkorn University.
