Piyush Sinha

Piyush Sinha has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning different industries and roles. Piyush most recently served as the Chief Digital Officer (CDO) at Ascend Solutions, starting in December 2023. Prior to that, they were the Head of Asia Pacific - Smart World and Communications at L&T Technology Services from March 2023 to December 2023.

Before joining L&T Technology Services, Piyush held the position of Global Head of Partner Sales at Avaloq from July 2022 to February 2023. Piyush also worked at NEC Asia Pacific Pte Ltd, where they served as the Head of APAC Service Delivery (Digital Finance Business) from December 2021 to February 2023, focusing on business synergy, go-to-market strategy, and service delivery capabilities in the APAC region.

Piyush has significant experience with NICDC Logistics Data Services (NLDS), where they served as a Member of the Management Board from January 2016 to March 2022. Piyush also took on the additional role of Chief Executive Officer, overseeing the establishment of the Logistics Data Bank system and bringing visibility and transparency to India's Exim Container Logistics.

Prior to their roles at NICDC Logistics Data Services, Piyush worked at NEC Corporation India Pvt Ltd. for an extended period, starting from June 2005 to November 2021. During their tenure, they held various leadership positions, including Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Piyush managed a portfolio of over USD 150 million, handled a diverse team, and led key accounts and partnerships.

Other notable companies on Piyush's professional journey include CSC e-Governance Services India Limited, where they served as a Member of the Management Board from December 2019 to January 2021, and HCL Technologies Limited, where they worked as Deputy General Manager - Corporate Planning & Business Development from June 2005 to April 2013.

Piyush's early career included roles at Beehive Systems Limited as Manager - Business Development and at Techno Modevertrieb GmBh & Co as a Team Leader - IVRS.

Piyush Sinha completed their education with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Savitribai Phule Pune University in 2000. Piyush then pursued an MBA (IB) degree with a specialization in Marketing and International Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, which they obtained in 2003. Prior to that, they completed their 12th grade education with a focus on PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) along with Economics from St. Michael's High School between 1987 and 1995. In 2014, Piyush also obtained a certification in Strategic Management & Leadership from enParadigm Knowledge Solutions.
