James Del Bosque

EVP, Operations at Ascend

James Del Bosque is currently the EVP of Operations at Ascend. Prior to this, they were the Director of IS for Large Enterprise at Dell Services from July 2010 to October 2011. In this role, they were responsible for daily management of Delivery Managers operating in several environments, including ITO, modular services, and best value solutions. James also was responsible for financial forecasting, capital expenditures, operating expenses, and variance reviews.

From August 2006 to December 2010, James was the Director of IT/Operations & HR- Latin America for Dell Services. In this role, they managed IT Delivery & Operations with 560 employees in multiple sites throughout Mexico. James also led the Operations Group (HR, Training, & Facilities) with 25 direct reports and the infrastructure and software delivery team with over 500 dotted line reports. Additionally, they served as the designated legal representative with signature authority for all corporate financials, government relations, and commercial agreements.

During their time at Perot Systems, James consulted with legal counsel to build Mexico Corporations and Operational Models which became the center of Latin America Operations. James also led the new country start-up for Perot Systems, coordinated the corporate setup of a 4 floor 40,000 square foot facility and a second satellite office in partnership with a global university. In addition, they designed and developed operational units including Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Training and Facilities in Latin America. James Del Bosque has a certification in international business from Harvard Business School and a doctorate of jurisprudence in law from Texas Southern University—Thurgood Marshall School of Law. James also attended Lamar University.
