Lorena Mendez

Lorena Mendez is an IT Independent Executive Partner at Ascend. Lorena has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, working with companies such as Flexible IT Business Solutions, HITSS USA, Universidad del Pedregal, ITAM, and General Motors Mexico. In their role at General Motors Mexico, they were responsible for managing the National Sales Company IT Strategy and overseeing the development and implementation of regional and local IT projects. Lorena has a strong background in project management and is skilled in using PMI and ITIL standards and processes.

Lorena Mendez has a Master's in Information Technology and Business Administration from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, a Master's in Networks and Systems Administration from Telecom Bretagne, and a Bachelors in Computer Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México. Lorena also has diplomas in Human Resources Development from Instituto Humanista de Psicoterapia Gestalt, Financial Markets from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, and Leadership Development Program from University of Maryland Global Campus. In addition, they have certifications in IT Technology Management from Learning Tree International and Project Management from International Institute of Learning.
