Shawn Sabu

Shawn Sabu is a Cyber Security professional with significant experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the Cyber Security Lead at Ascend SC since January 2022, Sabu is responsible for developing and executing cyber security strategies, architectures, and compliance controls. As a member of InfraGard since March 2022, Sabu engages in critical partnerships aimed at safeguarding national security. Previously, Sabu held the position of Cyber Security Senior Associate at Westlake Chemical, providing security support for a global user base and assessing risks during several acquisitions. Additional experience includes project management related to a web application development project and an internship focused on network infrastructure monitoring. Shawn Sabu is pursuing a Master of Business Administration at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, building on a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from the University of Houston.
