Benoit Ferran

Co-founder & CTO at Ascendance Flight Technologies

Benoit Ferran has worked in the aeronautical industry since 2010. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as an Officer in the French Navy in Aeronautical Maintenance. In 2012, they were an Electrical Propulsion Intern at ACS Aviation. From 2013 to 2014, they worked at Zodiac Aerospace as a PEM Fuel Cell System Engineer for the HYCARUS project. During this time, they designed the architecture and defined technical specifications of the hydrogen management system. In 2014, they were an E-FAN Flight Performance Leader at Airbus. From 2017 to 2018, they were a Visiting Lecturer at ISAE-SUPAERO. Currently, they are a Co-founder and CTO at Ascendance Flight Technologies, where they are developing technologies and services to enable a greener aviation, including their first product Atea, a Vertical Take-Off and Landing aircraft with reduced carbon emissions and noise footprint.

Benoit Ferran completed a Master 2 in Aeronautical Engineering from ISAE-SUPAERO in 2012.
