Mikael R. is an experienced level designer with a strong background in game development and narrative design. Currently working at Ascendant Studios since January 2022, Mikael has previously contributed to projects at Steamroller Studios, Couch Rat Studios, and Studio Whip, where skills in gameplay implementation, combat design, and environmental setup were showcased. Notable projects include the shipping of "Curse of the Deadwood" and contributions to "Grimmlins" and "Flicker of Hope." Mikael's educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Interactive Entertainment from the Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy and a Bachelor of Arts in Writing & Rhetoric from the University of Central Florida. Additionally, Mikael has experience in writing support and tutoring from roles at Daytona State College and the University of Central Florida.
