Shruti Somani

Shruti Somani is an experienced operations and finance professional with a strong background in research and client management. Currently serving as Operations Manager at Ascendant since May 2021, Shruti has advanced through various operations roles within the company. Prior to this, experience includes a position as Research Associate at S&P Global Market Intelligence, focusing on Investor Activism research related to ESG and governance issues from February 2014 to December 2020. Earlier career experience includes serving as Assistant Manager at ICICI Bank, where Shruti managed a clientele of over 350 high net-worth individuals, and an internship in mutual fund portfolio research at Edelweiss Financial Services Limited. Shruti holds an M.B.A. in Finance from Sinhgad Institute Of Management and a Bachelor's Degree from Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce.
