Rui Galamba

Rui Galamba has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Rui started their career as a Drug Rehab and Prevent Specialist at Ministerio Saude; Presidencia COnselho Ministros, where they worked from 1991 to 1995. Rui then moved on to work as an Astronomer at Observatorio astronomico Lisboa from 1997 to 2000. From 2000 to 2006, Rui worked at HP as an IT consultant and later as a Lead Solution Consultant. Rui then joined Mckinsey as a Consultant from 2007 to 2009. Rui's next role was at SMABTP, where they served as the Iberia IT Director from 2009 to 2014. Currently, they are the IT & Business Development Director at ASCENDUM Group, where they have been working since 2014. Their responsibilities in this role include defining the group's IT strategy, identifying operational synergies on main business areas, and program management.

Rui Galamba obtained a Doctorate degree in Physics from the University of Lisbon, where they studied from 1992 to 1997. Rui later pursued an MBA in Management at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa from 2005 to 2007.
