Ellita T. Williams

Ellita T. Williams, PhD, RN, currently serves as the National Program Manager RN at Ascension, where responsibilities include guiding the nursing research program and spearheading research initiatives to enhance quality improvement and operational decision-making. Williams has held leadership roles with Women In Bio, including President and Vice President of the Chicago Chapter, and has extensive case management experience with CVS Health, advocating for vulnerable patients and managing complex projects. Previous roles include Postdoctoral Fellowships at NYU Grossman School of Medicine and the University of Pittsburgh, where Williams contributed to clinical trials and authored impactful publications. Clinical experience spans critical care settings at UPMC and other institutions, highlighting a strong background in patient care and safety. Williams holds a PhD from the University of Washington School of Nursing, specializing in Traumatic Brain Injury, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Florida.
