Marty Barnes

Marty Barnes serves as a Registered Nurse at Ascension since July 2020 and has been the Director of Casey's Circle, a nonprofit established in memory of a daughter, since April 2016. Additionally, Marty is the owner of CaseyBarnes.org, created with a spouse after the birth of their daughter, and has contributed to Texas Parent To Parent as a volunteer since 2008, facilitating home visits for medical residents. Previously, Marty held leadership roles in Mommies of Miracles and Hand To Hold, focusing on support for families with special needs children. An extensive background in database administration includes positions at Dimensional Fund Advisors, eLogic, Vitalz, and McLane. Marty holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Austin Community College, supplemented by an Associate's degree in Nursing from the same institution and earlier education from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.
