Michael Shaw has extensive experience in strategic development and mergers & acquisitions, currently serving as Chief Development Officer at Ascension since August 2021, where responsibilities also include leading national strategic initiatives. Prior to this role, Michael spent nearly a decade at Community Health Systems, advancing from Manager of Acquisitions and Development to Vice President of Acquisitions and Development. Earlier experience includes positions as Senior Associate in the Financial Institutions Group at Crowe Horwath, LLP, and an internship in auditing at the same firm. Michael holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Accountancy in Accounting from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
