Randy Dufrene, Jr. is a Louisiana POST certified police officer with extensive experience in law enforcement, currently serving as a Detective in the Criminal Investigation Bureau (Narcotics) at the Gonzales Police Department since June 2011. In this role, Randy is responsible for investigating narcotics complaints and assisting with high-profile cases. Additionally, Randy serves as a Task Force Officer with the Drug Enforcement Administration's Baton Rouge Division Office since October 2021 and holds a position as a Task Force Detective with the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division. Prior experience includes serving as a Deputy Sheriff at the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office from March 2007 to June 2011, where responsibilities encompassed working in corrections and uniform patrol. Randy completed education at Baton Rouge Community College from 2006 to 2009 and obtained a High School Diploma from Doyle High School in 2006.
