Samuel Peabody-Farris

Samuel Peabody-Farris has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Samuel began their career in 1994 as a Truck Driver at Enterprise Products. From 1997 to 1999, they served as a Manager at B.U.M. Equipment. Following that, they worked as a Dispatcher at Penn National Gaming and Hollywood Casinos from 1999 to 2005. Samuel then joined MGM Resorts International as a Dispatcher from 2005 to 2010. In 2010, they started working at Paris Las Vegas as a Dispatcher, a role they held until 2016. Since 2018, Samuel has been employed at the Ascension Parish Sheriffs Office, where they started as a Deputy and 911 Dispatcher. Samuel has since been promoted to Deputy First Class and also took on the role of a Communications Division Trainer CTO.

Samuel Peabody-Farris completed their Associate's degree in Civil Structural & Architectural Drafting from ITI Technical College from 2002 to 2005. In addition, they obtained several certifications including Advanced EMD/EFD, Emergency Fire Dispatcher Certification (EFD), Emergency Medical Dispatcher Certification (EMD), and Emergency Police Dispatcher Certification (EPD) from the International Academies of Emergency Dispatch in April and May of 2018.
