Alex Heerema

Alex is an Associate at Ascension. He is responsible for sourcing, screening and performing due diligence on investment opportunities for Ascension’s Institutional funds as well as the Conduit EIS Impact Fund (a partnership between Conduit and Ascension).

Prior to joining Ascension in October 2022, Alex was an early employee in two B2B software startups, where he focussed on launching and optimising go-to-market strategies to deliver scalable growth. He also has investment experience at Prime Ventures in Amsterdam and Techstars, London.

Alex holds an MSc in Economics and Strategy for Business from Imperial College London and a BA in Political Economy from King’s College London.
