Lin Wang

Lin Wang is the current President & CEO at Ascent Bio-Nano Technologies. Prior to this, Lin had a long and successful career in marketing analytics, holding positions at both Genworth Financial and Capital One.

At Genworth Financial, Lin led cross-organization projects for the CFO, including Balance Sheet Strategy, Overlap Governance, IT Financial Systems, etc. Lin was also responsible for coordinating Federal Regulators exams on financial decision making models.

Lin’s time at Capital One was marked by significant successes in managing credit card products through direct mail and Internet channels. In just one year, Lin increased the number of new customers by 230% and the NPV from $0.4M to $3M. Lin also led a multi-department team to conduct marketing research and design user-oriented products and experience. This work accelerated the product testing cycle from 9 months to 3 months.

These accomplishments demonstrate Lin’s outstanding skills in marketing analytics and project management. These skills have served their well in their current role as President & CEO at Ascent Bio-Nano Technologies.

Lin Wang has a Master's degree in Management from Harvard University and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Duke University. Lin also has a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Electrical Engineering from Peking University. In addition, Lin Wang has certification from George Washington University in Project Management and certification from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing in Mental Health First Aid USA.
