Shashidhar Vanapalli

Shashidhar Vanapalli has had an extensive career in the technology industry. Shashidhar began in 2003 as a Software Development Test Engineer at Microsoft, where they wrote test specifications and test automation scripts using C++, C#, and Visual Diff tools for Microsoft Excel Mobile. Shashidhar was promoted to Test Lead in 2004 and prototyped IRM (Information Rights Management) for Outlook Mobile for the first time on Windows Phone. In 2006, they were promoted to Program Manager and led a team of 20 people for Mobile Media located in 3 different countries. In 2009, they joined EZRental as VP of Operations, where they built Sales and Operations teams, formulated policies and strategic plans for future growth, and set annual budgets. In 2018, they joined Ascent Technology Consulting as Regional Manager - Middle East & Africa, and then Vice President (Product Head). In this role, they worked with clients DIB, ADIB, NBQ, ICICI, Bank Nizwa, Doha Bank, BSF, and HCL.

Shashidhar Vanapalli has a diverse educational background. Shashidhar earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from GMR Institute of Technology (GMRIT), GMR Nagar, Rajam, Srikakulam Dt.,-532127 (CC-34)) in 2003. Prior to that, they earned a Diploma in Computer Science from Andhra Polytechnic, Kakinada in 1999. Additionally, they have earned vocational degrees in Accounting from Grays Harbor College in 2014 and Graphic Design from Walla Walla University in 2013. Shashidhar also has two certifications from Toastmasters, including a CC Silver in Communication and a CL Silver in Leadership.
