Lenny Kolstad

Lenny Kolstad is a Mechanical Engineer at Ascent Engineering Group since January 2024, previously serving as an Energy Engineer at Trane from March 2017 to January 2024, supporting the Energy Performance Contracting business in Virginia and the Carolinas. Prior experience includes roles at the Institute for Market Transformation as a Senior Program Associate and Program Associate, where Lenny focused on building energy efficiency initiatives. Additional positions include contributions at Energy Efficient Buildings Hub as a Stakeholder Engagement Intern and volunteer work with Global Vision International. Lenny holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Yale University.
