Poonam Boparai

Poonam Boparai is a seasoned environmental professional with extensive experience in air quality and climate change. Currently serving as Principal and Air Quality & Climate Change Specialist at Ascent Environmental, Inc. since February 2013, Poonam has previously held similar specialist roles at Environmental Science Associates and AECOM Design & Planning. Poonam's career began with positions as an Air Quality Specialist at EDAW and as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Poonam earned a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
