John has also held positions in business development and recruitment management at EIRE Systems and as an IT Recruiting Consultant at CDS Consulting. The professional journey began with a foundation in financial recruitment at Optia Partners and Kohgakusha as an English Teacher, followed by a technical role as a UNIX Engineer at Sun Microsystems. John Byrne holds a BSc in Software Engineering from the Institute of Technology, Carlow, completed in 1999.
