Trish Martinelli

Trish Martinelli has extensive experience in roles that bridge innovation, defense, and business development within various sectors of the Department of Defense and related organizations. As a Board Member at Federal Innovators Salon, Trish supports collaboration among federal innovators, and as the Industry Engagement Lead at the Department of Defense Office of Small Business Programs, Trish enhances opportunities for small and disadvantaged businesses. In previous positions, such as Executive Director of the Defense Entrepreneurs Forum and Regional Director at the National Security Innovation Network, Trish focused on accelerating innovation within the DoD. Trish's strategic expertise is further demonstrated through positions at the Office of Naval Intelligence and the Joint Improvised-Threat Defeat Agency, providing vital analysis and support to mission-critical operations. Trish holds multiple educational certifications, including a Professional Certification in Design Thinking from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and a Master of Business Science in Not-For-Profit Business Management from the University of Maryland.
