Daniel Becker

Daniel Becker has extensive work experience in corporate venture, innovation, and corporate development in the technology and financial services industries. Daniel has served as a COO and co-founder of AscentOS, a fintech platform, since October 2021. Daniel was a Venture Partner at impact Venture Capital from January 2014 to present, where they advised early-stage investments in enterprise and consumer SaaS. Daniel was the Senior Vice President for Strategy and Corporate Development at Access Softek from June 2018 to September 2021, where they led fintech and digital financial services platforms for community financial institutions. Previously, they served as a Board Director and Interim CFO at Watchwith, an early-stage cloud platform for scene-level video metadata from January 2014 to December 2016. Daniel also worked at Samsung Electronics from August 2009 to December 2013, where they were a Director for Corporate Venture and Innovation in the US subsidiary that accelerated the build of the Samsung Solutions Center. Prior to that, they were a Senior Manager for Strategy and Corporate Development at Samsung's HQ. Daniel started their career at Accenture, where they were a Senior Consultant for Management Consulting from May 2000 to December 2007.

Daniel Becker completed their undergraduate studies at Marquette University, earning a BA in Economics & Anthropology. Daniel then went on to obtain an MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, with a focus on Finance, Strategy, and Innovation. Additionally, Daniel completed the Kauffman Fellows program, Class 16, which concentrated on PE/VC.
