Simon Mak

Simon Mak is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in valuation, sustainability advisory, and philanthropy. As the Founder and CEO of Ascent Partners, established in 2008, Simon Mak provides independent valuation and ESG advisory services to publicly listed companies. In September 2022, Simon Mak founded the Ascent Partners Foundation to streamline philanthropic activities. Previously, Simon Mak served as the Chief Executive Officer of Friends of the Earth (HK) from 2018 to 2020 on a pro bono basis and held the position of Director at RHL International from 2006 to 2008, where Simon founded the Business Valuation Department. Simon Mak began a career in the IT sector before transitioning to finance, showcasing a diverse professional background. Education includes a Bachelor of Science from McGill University, Graduate Studies at Stanford University, and participation in the Prince of Wales's Business & Sustainability Programme at the University of Cambridge.
