Rich Weber

Rich Weber currently serves as the EHS Manager at Ascent Resources, a position held since March 2022. With extensive experience in emergency management and response, Rich has also worked as an Adjunct Faculty member at The University of Akron since 1994, and contributed to emergency response operations as the Emergency Response Coordinator at American Energy Partners, LP from November 2014 to August 2015. Previous roles include Deputy Director at Stark County Emergency Management Agency and Planner at Ohio Emergency Management Agency. Formerly, Rich was the EADP Professional Development Coordinator at the University of North Texas, focusing on the development of emergency operations plans and disaster exercise evaluations. Rich Weber holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration, a Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Education, and an Associate’s Degree in Fire Protection Technology, all from The University of Akron.
