Vice President, Clinical Operations China at Ascentage Pharma

Geng Wu's work experience begins in 2002, where they served as a Sub-Investigator at Shanghai No.6 People's Hospital. They then moved on to work as a Clinical Research Associate at Shanghai Sunwaybio Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. from 2004 to 2005, and later at AstraZeneca from 2005 to 2006. In 2006, they became a Regional Study Manager at Clinical Research & Development of Wyeth.

From 2009 to 2012, Geng Wu held two positions at Biogen Idec, first as a Clinical Operations Manager in Great China and later as the Clinical Research Country Lead for Great China.

In 2012, Geng Wu became an Associate Director of Project Management at Boehringer Ingelheim. They then joined UCB in 2014, where they held the positions of Head of Clinical Project Management China, Global Clinical Project Management, and later became the Head of Clinical Project Management China, Development East Asia & Network (Shanghai/Beijing).

In 2018, Geng Wu moved to Shanghai Yongzheng Medical Science and Technology Co., Ltd, where they served as the Chief Clinical Operations Officer & Vice President until 2019.

From 2019 to 2020, Geng Wu worked at BeyondSpring as the Vice President of Global Clinical Operations.

Currently, since 2020, Geng Wu holds the position of Vice President of Clinical Operations China at Ascentage Pharma.

Geng Wu has a strong educational background in the field of medicine and business. Geng obtained a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in Clinical Medicine from Soochou Medical Collage, now Medical Collage of Soochow University, from 1994 to 1999. Later, they attended Shanghai Second Medical University from 2001 to 2004, where they earned another Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree, specializing in Endocrinology and internal medicine. In recent years, Geng Wu pursued an advanced education in business and earned two Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees. Geng attended BI Norwegian Business School and Fudan University from 2016 to 2018 for their MBA studies.
