William Garrett

William Garrett has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on clinical operations and trial management. William currently serves as the Vice President of Clinical Operations at Ascentage Pharma since August 2019. Prior to this, they held various roles at Incyte from 2005 to 2019, including Senior Director of Clinical Trial Head and Associate Director of Clinical Operations, where they demonstrated expertise in program development, cross-functional project management, and regulatory compliance. Before joining Incyte, they worked at AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Clinical Research Scientist, managing multiple clinical trials and leading e-clinical initiatives. Additionally, they have experience as an Associate Director of Clinical Monitoring at Celsion Corporation and as a Senior Clinical Research Coordinator at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Mr. Garrett began their career as the Supervisor of Survey Research and Clinical Recruitment at Innovative Medical Research.

William Garrett earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Morgan State University, where they studied from 1993 to 2001. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Health Care Management at Regis University from 2002 to 2004.
