Kate Atkin

Kate Atkin has a diverse work experience across various companies and roles. Kate is currently working as the Vice President of Compliance and Data Privacy at Ascential, a position they have held since June 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Compliance and Data Privacy at Ascential from February 2019 to June 2021. Before joining Ascential, they worked as a Consultant Senior Solicitor at Ascential from May 2014 to February 2019.

Earlier in their career, Kate Atkin served as a Consultant at M Law LLP from September 2010 to February 2019. Kate also held the position of EMEA Head of Legal - Brand Marketing at BlackBerry from September 2008 to September 2010, and Head of Legal and Compliance at Bauer Media from February 2006 to August 2008. Prior to that, they worked as a Legal Counsel at Emap plc from September 2004 to January 2006.

Kate Atkin's career began as a Corporate and M&A lawyer at Macfarlanes from October 2001 to July 2004. Kate started their professional journey as a Corporate Paralegal at Forsters LLP from June 2000 to October 2001.

Kate Atkin attended Otumoetai College from 1990 to 1995. Kate then went on to study at Victoria University of Wellington from 1995 to 2000, where they obtained a LLB/BA degree with a focus on Law, History and Psychology.
